BULOVA

The Bulova Watch Company is a renowned American watchmaker with a rich history that spans over a century. In the 1970s, the Bulova Watch Company faced financial challenges and went through a series of ownership changes until 2008 when Citizen Watch Co. Ltd. of Japan purchased the Bulova Watch Company and formed the Citizen Watch America subsidiary.

Today, Bulova continues to create a wide range of watches known for their precision, craftsmanship, and design. This is a vintage Bulova mechanical wristwatch dated from 1955.

It is a manual wind watch powered by an original Bulova movement caliber 8AC, 17 jewels, 18,000 A/h, 42 hours power reserve, made in U.S.A.

Champagne textured dial with silver diamond accents at 12 -3 - 9 o'clock, gold hours marks and gold matching hands. the sub-second hand is located at 6 o'clock. The dial is also signed with Bulova on the bottom.

Cased in a 21.4x28.5mm rentangular case and fancy lug design, all in 10K yellow gold filled. Original signed Bulova crown.

It comes on a black Genuine Lizard leather two-piece strap.

This wristwatch is in good condition. Runs very well and keeps great time!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
